- First off all thanks to all the people that
- suggested the tcopy command for copy 8mm tapes.
- It worked fine. Some people also warned me about
- setting the block sizes the same. We copied a
- 512 tape to a 1024 tape with tcopy and had no
- troubles. We did however have some trouble copying
- a 512 tape to a 512 tape. It wouldn't fit on the second
- tape ??? Are manufactures playing around with tape
- lenghts ?? Both tapes claim to be 112 (meters ?).
-
- Another problem is that it took over 6 hours to
- copy just one tape. Does anybody have any suggestions
- or the same experiance?
