  12. We're having some problems with multiple nameserver entries in
  13. /etc/resolv.conf. If the first nameserver is down, machine performance
  14. decreases dramatically. Every command waits about seven seconds for
  15. a timeout before switching to the second nameserver.
  16. Is there a way to make the switching to the next entry permanent (for
  17. at least some minutes) since if a nameserver is down it will
  18. usually take a couple of time for it to become available again.
