- Type locale -a to see which "locales" you have installed. If you
- have the en_US or En_US installed, you can simply set the LANG
- environment variable in /etc/environment, or use "smitty chlang".

- happen with that language environment.

- If you don't have the en_US locales installed, you have to install
- them from your AIX tape. I recommend running with the en_US locale,
- since it is ISO (like most of the other machines on your network).
