- In the January issue of RS/Magazine there was an article on setting up
- emergency procedures
- for your RS6000. One of the first things which should be done is build a
- bootable system
- onto an alternate media to permit getting at the hard disk. The article
- cites publication
- SC23-2341-05 - AIX Installation Guide. Unfortunately, the machine I
- inherited has no manuals
- and I can't look up the procedure. I am running version 3.2 of the
- operating system. I would very
- much appreciate a set of instructions on how to create the bootable system
- cited in
- the publication mentioned. If it is too complex to write up, I'll try to
- get that manual.
-
- Thanks very much for your help.
