  27. use splp to set the lp0 device to passthrough. Looks like the passthrough
  28. entry is ignored when configuring the device. splp will do it right,
  29. but you have to call it each time you boot the machine.
  30. And setting -dp on piobe in /etc/qconfig will tell the queue to keep its dirty 
  31. fingers of the printed data.
