  14. I can't offer any solutions about the qdaemon "disappearing", but I can
  15. offer the fact that I've seen it happen on two more systems.

  17. Both of the systems are PowerStation 340's running 3.2.2. One has 3 queues
  18. defined, the other ~25. On both systems, qdaemon simply stopped running for
  19. no apparent reason. The previous posting about qdaemon being sensitive about
  20. serial lines may be true, but the system with 3 queues is all parallel!

  22. There was nothing out of the ordinary going on either system.

  24. Any more thoughts about why qdaemon dropped are appreciated.
