- Summary: Need Unix OS'es that hanle really large filesystems

-
- A client needs to move a large IBM mainframe app to Unix. The problem
- is the database (proprietary structure) is LARGER than 2 Gb.
-
- Only one big machine needs to handle the file; the other machines on
- the network will access via client/server.
-
- My question: Which Unix OS vendors have machine+Unix combinations that
- will tolerate filesystems (and files) bigger than 2Gb?
-
- Please reply via email. Persons interested in a summary, respond via
- email.
-
- Thanks much.
