- There was an implementation by UNIX Pacific, but
- just for one of the Japanese character sets.
- It's based on our DWB, but uses as special variable-
- byte encoding. It can be purchased from UNIX Pacific,
- I believe:
- USL Pacific - tel: 81-2-5484-8605

-
- Recent Research efforts in Bell Labs are based on UNICODE,
- and we are currently considering whether to offer a
- UNICODE version on DWB. This would cover Chinese, Korean,
- and several hundred other languages, including many
- Indian dialects.
-
- The current DWB available from USL and NCR (3.2)
- supports only Western European languages, as per
- ISO 8859-1.
