- I have a Lear Siegler ADM3A+ terminal which I use to log on to
- the Unix machines at school at 1200 baud.
-
- The terminal performs fairly well using the adm3aplus termcap
- entry with one notable exception.
-
- Using telnet clients and elm the spaces are nondestructive. So,
- for instance, the line on the elm display that takes input and offers
- options never clears before asking for more input making for a very
- jumbled display.
-
- I assume there may be something wrong with the termcap offered
- here. The dip switch the ADM3A had for destructive/non destructive
- cursor spacing is not included on the 3A+.
-
- I tried calling Lear Siegler, but they seem to be out of
- business or else not where they used to be and not easily found.
-
- Any help will be greatly appreciated. I could switch to another
- terminal for not alot of money, but if I can keep this one running, I
- would prefer to.
