- I would like to have one terminfo database for all of our
- UNIX machines -- some terminfo database have entries for some terminals,
- other vendors ship others. It would be nice then, if they are
- the same, too...I have noticed that the way the function keys
- are defined is different among xterm entries... However,
- do I have to worry about copyrights? Has anybody already
- put together such a suite? I also wanted to make our termcap
- and terminfo entries somewhat consistent...
-
- One thing in particular I need to resolve is that our
- Data General AViiON defines el1=\E[1K for vt100. Our other
- UNIX's don't. The thing is, when this is defined like that,
- this editor Joe doesn't work.
