- Greetings,
-
- I recently got a used Zenith Z-200 (manufactured in 1986 I think) and
- have a question about using a modem with it. I have connected an internal
- Hayes compatible to by second communications port. When I use a communications
- package, I hear the dial tone, the phone ringing and a connection sound. The
- only problem is none of the stuff will echo onto my screen. Basically,
- everything works but no data scrolls across the screen after the connection.
- Is this something that should be taken up with the system and monitor or is
- does it have something to do with the communications software (Kermit and
- Procomm)?
-
- BTW, it's a monochrome monitor (with an EGA card, I think).
-
- Thanks in advance.
