- We're having quite a problem with certian rev of ZKB-2 keyboards. The keyboards
- in question all have rev 1.2 of the keyboard controller chip and the date of
- 5-6-87. The problems we're having are similar to the one in message 35413.
- The left shift key "seems" to stick. We can recreate this at will. Keyboards
- with the revision 1.04 work correctly. The way we recreate this problem is
- with Smarterm 340 for DOS, logging into the VAX or editing in WP 5.0 for VMS,
- if we hit the "editing" arrow keys the keyboard will then "stick". The only
- way to "unstick" it is to tap the left shift key. Is there a keyboard
- controller chip that will correct this problem? Or do you have any ideas? We
- have at present 32 keyboards with this problem. (we have about 3000 Zenith
- systems).
