  11. I bought a Z-286 LP a couple of years ago w/ a Z-549 video card and a
  12. ZCM-1490 flat screen monitor.  I would like to know if there is
  13. anything I can do to upgrade this system. I'd like to go to a 386.

  15. Are there any motherboard replacements possible for this model? Any
  16. other options?

  18. I like the monitor very much, but I've noticed an occasional flicker
  19. that can get quite annoying at times. I've seen some brief mentions on
  20. this group of a problem with the original (either Z549 card or the
  21. ZCM-1490 monitor). Is there anything I can do about that flickering?

  23. If so, then I suppose another option would be to simply buy another
  24. computer w/out a monitor and just use the one I have now.  Will other
  25. video cards work with that monitor?
