  11. Thanks very much to the readers of this newsgroup who have helped me
  12. get my Alto up and running.  
  13.  
  14. For my next quest, I recently acquired several 1108's from which I'd
  15. like to at least try to assemble one that works.  However, I have no
  16. documentation and know that none of the systems work "out of the box"
  17. (out of the dumpster might be closer to the truth).  If anyone has any
  18. spare 1108 manuals (hardware especially!), or could copy any for me,
  19. please let me know.  I'd also be very interested in hearing from
  20. anyone with a spare OS distribution.  Assuming that I get a system
  21. running, it would be great to have an OS set on hand, in case the
  22. disks are trashed.

  24. In general, I'd like to hear from anyone who has one of these
  25. running.  I's appreciate any tips or insights you could share.
