- Greetings, I have some questions that I hope you can answer.
-
- 1) Is there any previous or ongoing transputer systems that uses the
- hypercube type interconnection? For a 16-node system, each transputer
- would have to use all 4 channels for communication. Is there a way to
- multiplex the channels to handle more transputer-to-transputer
- interconnections?
-
- 2) Is it possible to obtain unpackaged transputers? Yeah, I mean a silvery
- die like 1cm x 1cm in area ebfore they put it in those black cases with
- pins. I'd like to use it in a research prototype. There are times when
- those packages are just too big.
-
- Thanks in advance for any helpful pointers. Either post or mail is fine.
