- I have a NewsPrint 2.0 and a SparcPrinter - and all works well.
-
- Is it possible to connect another printer to the parallel port and
- drive a dumb (non-newsprint) printer? I tried connecting to /dev/bpp0
- in /etc/printcap but the print still come out the sparcprinter
- (/dev/lpvi0). Catting a file to /dev/bpp0 also comes out the
- sparcprinter (as junk by the way, no ascii).
-
- I also tried add_np_printer hoping that would do something I
- overlooked - no luck, it still prints to the sparcprinter.
-
- Can you use that second port on the S-Bus card that way?
-
- Thanks in advance.
