  14.     I have an old HP LaserJet 2686A that I am trying to get to print from a SparcIPC, and
  15.  I am having this pesky problem.  I have tried many things (both conventional and weird) in
  16.  the printcap file, and nothing seems to be working.  Here's the problem:  it is willing to
  17.  print out the first page asked of it, but it will only print out the first couple lines. 
  18.  Not only that,   but it prints those lines way off to the right side of the page.  All other
  19.  pages come out blank until I restart /usr/lib/lpd, after which it will once again print a
  20.  few lines off to the right of the first page, followed by all blanks.  
  21.  
  22.     HP tech and printer support have been unable to help me (they suggested I check the
  23.  DIP switches, which were all set correctly).  If you have a system like this set up, or know
  24.  what black magic I must weave to get it to work, I would be most grateful to share in your
  25.  wisdom.  Thanks.
