  22. Your assumption is incorrect.  Solaris does not come pre-installed.  And if you
  23. don't buy the Solaris CD and a CD-ROM player (if you aren't connected to a network
  24. that has a CDROM and/or Solaris) you might as well use the Classic as a door-stop,
  25. because it's useless straight out of the box.

  28. Don't know for sure, but I don't think there's much if any space left if you
  29. install the complete Solaris distribution and assign about 32Meg for swap (if I
  30. remember correctly, on my LX the entire distribution took up about 170Megs.)

  34. I asked this question awhile back and some folks said that they got 16Meg SIMMS
  35. for as little as $570.  Since you need at least a pair, I'd say you will have
  36. to part with about $1100.
