  22. The only way to get to 32 Meg on a Classic or LX is to buy two 16Meg SIMMS and remove
  23. the installed 4Meg SIMMs.  Anyway some folks suggested that "Chips for
  24. Less" (214-250-0009) would sell 16Meg SIMMs (4Mx33bit @60ns) for $560.  I haven't
  25. verified this.  Could someone positively confirm (ie. you actually installed such
  26. memory) that these SIMM specs (4Mx33bit @60ns) are correct for an LX?  The price
  27. difference between this $1100/32Meg and Sun's list price of $3000/32Meg is so large
  28. as to make me suspicious.  Surely even Sun wouldn't charge such a premium on
  29. memory unless there was something extra special about their chips...or would they  :?)
