- I have an old Sun2 type monochrome monitor. When I first got it, there
- were no problems with it.Then after a while (months), it seemed to have
- problems on startup, syncing with the cpu board (I have a 4/110 now, with
- mono P4 board). it now takes about a whole minute to sync properly.

- While warming up, the problem is that the picture gets shifted into it's
- component horizontal lines. EVERY SINGLE ONE, in an even pattern,
- although the pattern can be more extreme, or less.

- for instance, if the normal line orientation is:
- 1 1
- 2 2
- 3 3
- 4 4
- 5 5
- 6 6
- 7 7
- 8 8

- It starts out as

- 2 2
- 3 3
- 4 4

- 8
- etc

- Right now, it's doing it AFTER it has warmed up.

- I don't know if its because I just upgraded it to 32 megs, or because
- the power here might be a bit dodgey.
- or both.
- (I used 16 large korean 100ns SIMMs, nine-chip)

- Suggestions as to why this is happening, and even perhaps some fixes,
- would be VERY appreciated.
