- I have to integrate a couple of new NextStation in the Campus network.
- I have seen that handling next is not so simple like a real Unix. It seems to be
- an interface layer between Unix and Next. For instance when I introduce a local
- user no change is made to passwd, but when I manually edit passwd, the user is
- recognized. How is it possible?
- I also need to shadow password on the nextstation, but no option to do that is
- in the manual. And finally, the next cannot print to the apple printers on
- ethernet, because of some errors in the postscript.
- Is there a FAQ to which I can refere to do the job? Anybody had my same
- difficulties, and overall is there a way to make Next a normal Unix sensible
- to modifications to standard configuration files?
