  11. I know that this has been covered before, but it's not in the FAQ'z and
  12. my archive doesn't cover this group. So I'll ask.

  14. I've got a nextcube running 3.0 that connects to this machine. I currently
  15. have it setup to poll me, but I'd like to poll it. When I followed the config
  16. procedures for tip/uucp I get the message
  17.  
  18. /dev/cufa busy
  19.  
  20. This occurs once I change the /etc/ttys entry for the port to 'on' and do
  21. the kill -HUP 1 to restart it. I read the section on arbritration of the
  22. comports and don't see anything wrong. I've tried every kinda config to get
  23. it to work and have had no luck

  25. The entry in the /etc/ttys file is:

  27. ttydfa    "/usr/etc/getty std.19200" dialup on
  28.  
  29. The entry in the /etc/remote file uses dv=/dev/cufa. This works fine if the
  30. ttys entry is 'off'

  32. The entry in the /etc/uucp/L-devices file is:

  34. DIR cufa unused 19200 direct
  35.  
  36. So what gives?
