- I know that this has been covered before, but it's not in the FAQ'z and
- my archive doesn't cover this group. So I'll ask.
-
- I've got a nextcube running 3.0 that connects to this machine. I currently
- have it setup to poll me, but I'd like to poll it. When I followed the config
- procedures for tip/uucp I get the message
-
- /dev/cufa busy
-
- This occurs once I change the /etc/ttys entry for the port to 'on' and do
- the kill -HUP 1 to restart it. I read the section on arbritration of the
- comports and don't see anything wrong. I've tried every kinda config to get
- it to work and have had no luck
-
- The entry in the /etc/ttys file is:
-
- ttydfa "/usr/etc/getty std.19200" dialup on
-
- The entry in the /etc/remote file uses dv=/dev/cufa. This works fine if the
- ttys entry is 'off'
-
- The entry in the /etc/uucp/L-devices file is:
-
- DIR cufa unused 19200 direct
-
- So what gives?
-
- TIA
