- We have an external A/D SCSI device connected to our cube.
- Every time a user logs in, they get an alert panel saying:
- "unreadable SCSI device: Initialize? or Ignore?".
-
- Under NeXTStep 2.1, we had disabled this with an entry in
- fstab of the form:
- /dev/sd2a "/Untitled" ignore noauto,rw,noquota 1 2
-
- which seemed to work just fine.
-
- Now that we upgraded to 3.0, that solution seems no longer
- to be adequate. Any ideas out there on how we could get the NeXT
- to stop asking us about that device every time we log in?
-
- Any info would be appreciated.
-
- thanks,
