  12. I'm looking for information about what music software is available for the 
  13. NeXt.  I have a friend who is considering a Mac vs. a NeXt, and on the 
  14. basis of programming needs, the NeXt wins out on price/performance, but he is 
  15. also interested in direct-to-disk recording, which is available (at a price) 
  16. on the Mac from Digidesign, and music notation, for which there are several 
  17. good programs on the Mac.  Are there comparable programs on the NeXt?  I
  18. know that the NeXt has built in DSP capabilities that should make it possible
  19. for there to be a software-only product similar to Digidesign's AudioMedia and 
  20. Deck; are there?
