  22. According to Seagate locally their 1.3GB drives are supplied with firmware
  23. level 105.  NCR insist that they downgrade them to level 102 as this is the
  24. only level approved by NCR.

  26. In addition disks with level 102 firmware cannot be supplied direct to customers
  27. but only NCR.  An interesting turn on Open Systems!
