- According to Seagate locally their 1.3GB drives are supplied with firmware
- level 105. NCR insist that they downgrade them to level 102 as this is the
- only level approved by NCR.

- In addition disks with level 102 firmware cannot be supplied direct to customers
- but only NCR. An interesting turn on Open Systems!
