- wanted to make any sort of money with computers ought to shoot
- themselves rather than get a CS PhD. As he put it, "at the end of
- the program, you emerge poor, knowing too much about the wrong things,
- and several years behind the geeks with BA's in senority. A good
- bullet-wound, on the other hand, does less damage to your mind and
- wallet, and takes much less time to recover from."

- Besides, if you have a PhD is CS, you're not allowed to dirty yourself
- by actually USING a computer. CS is a science, not something grubby;
- leave the programming to the scuzzy engineers! ;^)
