- Hi.
-
- I've started writing mac programs with the help of David Mark's
- mac programming primer vol 1&2, and the hypercard IM's. There
- is a section on changing app icons in the primer which says to
- stick in a new icon in the resource file, make a BNDL and FREF
- resources, signature and the icon changes. It does when I
- rebuild my desktop...
-
- If I then copy the app to a floppy, the correct (new) icon
- shows up when I stick it in my machine (whose desktop was rebuilt)
- but when I put it in another mac it shows the plain old vanilla
- application icon.
-
- I'm sure I don't really have to rebuild the desktop on each
- machine... how do I get all machines to recognize this icon?
-
- Any help greatly appreciated.

-
- Thanks for any help.
