  16. Actually, it's fairly easy to program this into an application --
  17. I did it last week. Hiding the menu bar is a bit dubious,
  18. involving low-memory globals, but once you've done that, it's
  19. easy to stop the user switching to the Finder -- just create a
  20. window slightly larger than the GrayRgn (so it covers all
  21. monitors) and splat it on the screen. With the menu bar gone, the
  22. user can't do much of anything >:> Oh, except a forced quit of
  23. course, but even _I'm_ not crazy enough to try and patch that
  24. out...
