- I use an INFOSYS MCA controller in a Novell 3.11 Server. It is a cached
- controller, but does no busmaster DMA. They claim to be as fast as the
- AHA1640 with busmaster this way.
-
- After lots of problems with the Adaptec 1640 and virtually no help
- from this wondeful company we trashed our Adaptec and bought the
- Infosys controller. Since then - no problems. It runs like a champ.
-
- If you are a security freak, they even have a controller doing DES
- encryption on the fly...
-
- I guess it is a German company, but they also list a US address in the
- Manuals:
-
- Computer Elektronik Infosys of America Inc.
- 512-A Herndon Parkway
- Herndon, Va. 22070
-
- Phone: (703) 435-3800
- Fax: (703) 435-5129

- (I'm nothing but a satisfied customer)
