- I don't think the problem is with Norton's. What version of DOS are you using?
- We had that same thing happen on a different IBM machine running MS-DOS (not
- IBM DOS) 4.01, and the same thing happened. This wasn't a PS/2, but an XT 286.
- We don't even have any Norton products on this machine. (Mainly because it only
- has a HD 5 1/4" drive.) I believe there is a problem with DOS that affects
- certain machines. We also have a 386/20 with Norton 6.0 on it that has not had
- any problems, other than the drive motor failing.
