- For a quick fix, you could try creating a subdirectory and stick all
- your files in that. I don't know much about DOS's internal workings...
- but I know that on the Apple II, ProDOS restricts you to 51 entries in
- the root directory and imposes no restrictions on subdirectories.

- Another option is FDFORMAT, which (among other things) can create a
- larger root directory. Look for fdform18.* on the FTP sites.
