- Hi all,
- I have a friend who has stacker 2.0 installed on his hard drive.
- Apparently his brother turned off the computer (an IBM PS/2) while
- still in windows. Now when he boots up, he gets a message like
- "updating allocation table....." or something like that, and
- cannot write to his c: drive. I don't know much about stacker,
- but it sounds as if it write protected his hard drive (possibly
- by making the STACVOL.DSK read-only?). Anyway, you can see his
- predicament (sp?), he can't write anything to his hard drive. If
- anyone out there has experienced this problem or knows how to fix it
- PLEASE e-mail me quickly (he does not have an internet address).
