- Yes. If you contact your credit card company immediately (and in writing)
- they will usually go to the wall with you.
-
- I had a problem with an outfit called "Main Street Computer." I ordered
- a (then) top of the line Panasonic KXP-1624 printer. It never arrived
- and they had billed the credit card company; They were in New Hampshire
- and I am in New Jersey ( a tad more than fifty miles I'd say).
-
- I contacted Main Street and was given nothing but BS. I then contacted
- VISA. On the second bill from VISA was a credit for the printer and
- accumulated interest.
-
- I then bought it from Computability. NO PROBLEMS. Happy ever since.
