- In a booklet from Fujitsu I read that 'modern' HDDs (opposed to the old
- ones with stepper-motor) do a 'thermal recalibration' which means that the
- harddisk searches for the location of some tracks from time to time
- (because these locations can change, when the drive gets hot).

- So I think this is normal (though I don't understand why this has to be
- done so often ?!?).
