- I have just put together a 386 PC from a kit. I installed 4MB SIMMS memory
- in bank 0. When running some programs I get the message (with description)
-
- Parity Error ??? - Use memory diagnostic software such as AMIDIAG, to
- find and correct memory problems.
-
- As the computer is brand new I wonder if it would perhaps solve the problem
- if I remove the SIMMS and re-insert them carefully into the motherboard
- ( or would this be a fruitless exercise). Also where would I get hold
- of AMIDIAG as no software disk was supplied with my machine ( or is
- some equivalent program available from an ftp site somewhere)
-
- Any help would be appreciated.
-
- Thanks from Richard (rjt@dcs.warwick.ac.uk)
