- I think MSDOS floppy drives are physically incapable of reading AmigaDOS
- disks.. A standard Amiga 3.5" disk contains 880K, as compared to MSDOS's 720K..
- I know for a fact that an Amiga has no problem downgrading its drives to read
- MSDOS format--I do it all the time when porting images and documents to the
- IBM's at my college's computer lab. Wether the reverse is true, I find
- unlikely.
-
- Any Amiga can read DOS formatted disks at both 360K and 720K--The new high-end
- Amiga workstations such as the Amiga 4000 have a 1.76 meg floppy built in as
- standard, and can be used to read IBM 1.44 meg disks.
-
- Your best bet would be to find an Amiga user to do it for you, rather than
- searching endlessly for a DOS program to do the same task--There are an
- abundance of cross-filesystem readers / writers for the Amiga.. CrossDOS is
- just one of them, and is built into Release 2.1 and 3.0 of the Amiga operating
- system.
