- I am looking for a unix for the 386/486. I will be running the system as a
- dial-up service with probably about 8 lines to start, more to come later.
- I know of the following 'unix-type' os. I would like to know who I contact
- about these, any experiences good/bad you've had with these, and any others
- that I have missed.
- One other thing, I intend to use SCSI hard drives for this system, and I've
- heard that some unix's can't install directly to SCSI drives, so I'd love
- to hear about any installation/setup problems you've had.
-
- Pleasee reply via e-mail, I will post a summary when the number of new
- replies starts to fall off.
-
- The unix's I know to exist:
- linux
- SCO unix
- coherent
- Xenix

- Thank you
