  10. I've recently been told that there is an application for the Macintosh
  11. computer called "layers" (or "maclayers") that will allow you to have
  12. multi-window capability when connected to a host Unix system with socket
  13. support.  This is accomplished with just one connection.

  15. I was wondering if there was the equivalent of this for an ibm type
  16. computer, and if so, where I might get it.  I would assume that some
  17. kind of program would run on the Unix side, and I would appreciate a
  18. pointer to that as well.  I'd hope it's public domain/freeware, since
  19. I'd like to just install this on our local Sun-sparc lan for use by
  20. all our users.
