- I've recently been told that there is an application for the Macintosh
- computer called "layers" (or "maclayers") that will allow you to have
- multi-window capability when connected to a host Unix system with socket
- support. This is accomplished with just one connection.
-
- I was wondering if there was the equivalent of this for an ibm type
- computer, and if so, where I might get it. I would assume that some
- kind of program would run on the Unix side, and I would appreciate a
- pointer to that as well. I'd hope it's public domain/freeware, since
- I'd like to just install this on our local Sun-sparc lan for use by
- all our users.

- Reply preferred via email, but post is fine too. I scan both often.
