- This will sound like we are regressing back to the mainframe paradigm :-(
- However budgetary constraints are forcing us to consider the possibility of
- configuring a PC network with a high end 486 with say 500 MB of disk, and
- four or five SVGA monitors hanging off of it. The rationale is that these
- are not the principal machines for the user, and will be used only for word
- processing and spreadsheets, etc. Furthermore, all the data will be resident
- on a single machine.

- Any comments on if this is feasible ? Whether it is a good idea ? If the
- overhead of the networking software/hardware for the monitors is really
- worth it ? Any estimates of what I may expect to pay ?
