  26. NO don't connect your monitor to a CGA card. It way damage beyond repair.
  27. The whole point in having a CGA emulator card is that the signals from a CGA 
  28. card is incompatible with the signals of a Monochrome/Hercules card.

  30. It seems like you have a card just like mine.
  31. I suspect that you have used the card just in monochrome (hercules) mode.
  32. To get the card in CGA emulation mode just alter the jumpers on the card
  33. or use the program that is supposed to change the settings of the card.

  35. If your card had been set in CGA mode you woudn't had any problem to run
  36. programms that require CGA. From the computers point of view the card seems 
  37. to be a real CGA card.

  39. I think a CGA card has 8 colors in text mode 4 in low res graphics mode and
  40. 2 in hires graphics mode, correct me if i'm wrong.
