  13. I gave a similar problem. In fact I have problems formating
  14. sometimes as well. The problems seem to come and go without any
  15. warnings or indicationof prior or other symptoms.(and dissappear as
  16. quickly). It is quite frustrating. The A drive (5 1/4") does not
  17. seem to share the problem. Why not? In fact, WHAT is the problem.

  19. By the way, I have a Core Tape Light on the same ribbon cable as
  20. the two floppies, and it seems to be OK.
  21. Can anyone explain how you can have three devices where only two
  22. should live?  I know it works, but don't understand why?
