- I gave a similar problem. In fact I have problems formating
- sometimes as well. The problems seem to come and go without any
- warnings or indicationof prior or other symptoms.(and dissappear as
- quickly). It is quite frustrating. The A drive (5 1/4") does not
- seem to share the problem. Why not? In fact, WHAT is the problem.
-
- By the way, I have a Core Tape Light on the same ribbon cable as
- the two floppies, and it seems to be OK.
- Can anyone explain how you can have three devices where only two
- should live? I know it works, but don't understand why?
-
- Thank you very much for the help.
