- The XT1140 is a solid, workhorse drive. It is obsolete by today's
- interface standards, of course.

- Because the HDA was the same in the entire series that the 1140 came from,
- many of them can be formatted to much higher capacities than they were
- certified for. This means 1224 cylinders and RLL formatting. Friends
- of mine have used XT1140's formatted to 238 MB in this way for YEARS
- of continuous use without a peep.
