- The problem seems to be that Diamond uses a proprietary programmable clock
- circuit in their cards and isn't releasing the programming information. My
- impression is that this is independent of what accelerator chip they use.
- You can proabably get a more informed answer by following the discussions
- which have appeared in comp.os.linux and comp.windows.x.i386unix. Before
- buying a graphics accelerator for use with unix/X, it would be a good idea
- to get the current list of cards and chipsets for which there are Xfree386
- drivers.
