- Hi! I bought a PC recently and now found that the text screen (25x80) and
- the graphics screen (800x600) are not aligned with each other. The
- phenomena is like this: if I align the text in the middle by adjusting the H-
- Posi switch and then enter the graphics mode, then the graphics display
- will be about 1 cm right, leaving a black strip on the left side of the
- screen; if I align the graphics screen, and exit to text mode, then part of
- the text will be off screen to the left.
-
- My guess is that if you can align the greyish background (you get it by
- turning the contrast switch) in the text mode, the problem could be solved.
- But can I do it and how?
-
- Any information and help would be highly appreciated.
