- Funny, as I recall it, most of the computer industry was using the
- term PC to refer to any microprocessor based computer designed for
- a single user (like Apple IIs or 8080 based CP/M systems) years
- before IBM used the term in conjunction with it's home computer.
- It seems to me that prior to the introduction of the IBM PC it
- had a much broader definition than it does today.
