  21. If your system "thinks" that you have a CGA monitor by virtue of the
  22. fact that this board is emulating it, then no problem, right?

  29. This question throws me off because above you state that you are doing
  30. CGA emulation in which case I would think that you should already be
  31. telling your BIOS that you have a color monitor.

  33. There are a bunch of different CGA emulators for Hercules type
  34. monitors at wuarchive.wustl.edu in the /mirrors/msdos/screen
  35. directory.

  37. By the way, I have a similar situation in reverse.  I have a TTL type
  38. monitor that I am running off of an ATI Graphics Solution card.  This
  39. card can run a CGA monitor directly and only in CGA mode.  It can
  40. also run a TTL monitor in Hercules mode, IBM Monochrome Text mode or
  41. in CGA emulation mode.  You can either configure with switches or in
  42. software that is provided with the board.  The board comes with
  43. configuration software as well as several software specific drivers
  44. (i.e Lotus, Wordstar and Framework).  Even though I just got the
  45. board six months ago, its an older product ( date of manual= Sept. 89).
