- Yesterday I posted a question to the net asking if the Seagate 3144A and
- Quantum LPS52AT would be compatable in a master/slave combination.

- Nobody gave me a definative answer (in fact the only real reply I got was from
- a guy who had tried the seagate drive and a maxtor together with no success
- (he told me the Seagate used incompatable microcde).

- At any rate, id like to contact both seagate and quantum to see if they can
- give me any help.

- If it turns out the two arent compatable, I wont get the seagate (I have an
- opportunity to get a used one cheaply), or else id take the seagate and
- sell off my quantum.
