- I have been using a program called umb_dr.sys on my old 286. It supports a fair
- range of chipsets, you just have to know which on you have. It is avaliable as
- umbdr522.zip on wuarchive.wustl.edu in /mirrors4/garbo.uwasa.fi/memutil
- It works very well for me - I get ~200k uf umb, load all my drivers into it,
- and end up with the ability to execute a program larger than 640k, as it also
- extends my conventional memory a bit.
- The program also works pn 386/486 machines.
