- I have a '386 (25MHz) with 64kB cache, 2MB memory, '387, 5 1/4" Floppy
- and a 120MB Colorado tape backup. I also have 6 slots occupied with
- mouse controller, FD/HD controller, modem, I/O port card, video card
- and one oher which I can't remember. The motherboard is full-sized and
- eerything is installed in a desktop case (i.e. not a tower).
-
- I am planning to add a 3 1/2" Floppy drive and would like to know if the
- power supply will be able to handle it. I *think* that my supply is 230W
- but I am not sure. It is at least 200W but there are no markings on this
- clone to indicate its size. What is the net wisdom on this; do I need
- a larger power supply?
-
- Thanks in advance,
