  12. Hi,
  13.   I have been looking around for a CD-rom drive and I was looking
  14. for some suggestions.  I have seen a Talon drive from INSIGHT
  15. that has 300 kb/s transfer rate, 64 K buffer.  Will this hook up to
  16. a sound blaster pro?  This also has one of the fastest transfer rates
  17. I've seen, plus it is around $540 which seems reasonable for this
  18. drive.  
  19.   If any of you have any suggestions or comments please send them.
  20. I'm a college student and that's alot of $$ to mess up on a 
  21. wrong CD drive.
